ABOUT ALVIN DEVILLER
Alvin is a proud supporter of environmental groups and Indigenous rights in Canada. His dream is to advance sustainable technologies that fight climate change in the transportation industry. He is bilingual (english, french), and studied mechanical design and manufacturing engineering at Concordia University in Montréal, Québec. He has 6 years of experience in the aerospace and transit bus industries. Below are some highlights of his career in engineering design and manufacturing. Through the co-op program at Concordia, he worked internships at Pratt & Whitney Canada, and l’Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), in Belgium. It was at ULB, for 2 terms, that he lead the development of a hydrogen fuel-cell electric powertrain test cell. There he participated in European sustainable transportation conferences to represent the project for ULB. Alvin is accomplished in designing, sourcing, and manufacturing a groundbreaking new technology, the first vacuum cold spray nanoparticle coating device in Canada.
