About Alvaro Hernandez
Results focused systems engineer with proven success on improving technical processes, productivity and integration. Experienced in the customer integration and development of a New Product Introduction (NPI). Successful in managing customer expectations as well as negotiating interfaces. Leader and influencer. Recent achievements reflect technical competency, leadership skills, customer advocacy, and willingness to persevere through uncertainty. As the 3rd employee assigned to the GE Catalyst program, I was critical during the launch of the NPI program. I was responsible for releasing the engine’s technical requirements, facilitating systems tech reviews, and defining module interfaces. Flawless execution of these responsibilities enabled the successful startup and on-time design release of the program. Most recently led the technical definition and on-time delivery of every aircraft/engine interface between GE and the customer to support the most aggressive NPI schedule in GE history. For these efforts I was awarded GE Aviation\'s Young Engineer
