Reporting to the Chief Retail Officer, I lead the LCBO’s Resource Protection (RP) team and set the strategy for enterprise wide security, loss-prevention, and asset-protection programs. Safeguarding our customers, employees, and LCBO assets.Key Responsibilities • Enterprise Leadership: Direct a cross-functional RP team, providing security governance and guidance across 680+ retail stores, distribution centres, corporate offices, and e-commerce operations. • Program Development: Design and execute risk-based policies and procedures that align with LCBO’s strategic goals and regulatory requirements, ensuring maximum protection for all assets and people. • Investigations & Compliance: Oversee and coordinate investigations into alleged criminal, fraudulent, and conflict-of-interest matters; collaborate with Legal, Internal Audit, and law-enforcement partners to ensure timely resolution and compliance. • Data-Driven Loss Prevention: Monitor crime trends and leverage security technologies (CCTV, access control, analytics) to anticipate threats, reduce shrink, and deliver measurable ROI. • Strategic Partnerships: Work closely with Retail, Supply Chain, Real Estate, eCommerce, Risk & Insurance, HR, Workplace Wellness, and the Union to embed security best practices and strengthen business continuity. • Executive Collaboration: Advise the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and LCBO Board on emerging risks, incident response, and long-term loss-mitigation strategies that enhance financial performance, customer experience, and employee satisfaction.
