ABOUT ALVARO MULLER BAUMGART LUCENA
Born in Germany and raised in Spain, I developed a global perspective and fluency in three languages from an early age. After high school, I earned a Division 1 golf scholarship to UCLA, where I majored in Applied Mathematics. The transition to a new country and the demands of collegiate athletics taught me resilience, time management, and a deep commitment to personal growth. Completed my Master’s in Business Analytics at Santa Clara University while continuing to compete as a D1 athlete. I’ve applied my academic focus to real-world data challenges, completing multiple projects in machine learning and natural language processing using Python, R, and SQL. Beyond the classroom and the golf course, I’ve volunteered at a dog shelter, translated marketing content for Servovendi, and coached young golfers. Leveraging my technical skills, I completed a practicum at HyperGrowth Labs as a Data Analyst and have now started as a Gen AI analyst for NVIDIA
