I’ve spent my career working inside IT operations environments, paying attention to how work moves through the system. I’m as focused on the individual incident as I am on how deliverables are tracked and how customer feedback is handled.My background spans Windows-based enterprise systems, virtualization, networking, data protection, monitoring, and automation. That range allows me to see how issues move across layers instead of treating them as isolated events.When something breaks, I look at both the technical root and the workflow around it — how the incident was detected, how it was escalated, how ownership was defined, and how customer impact was handled. Most operational problems point to something underneath. I focus on understanding those connections and correcting them in a way that lasts. While much of my recent experience has been operational in nature, I rely on my technical foundation to map the full picture.I’ve led 24x7 operations, field teams, data protection teams, and tools teams in enterprise and managed services environments while staying close enough to the work to understand its impact. Within those teams, I spend time understanding the details before making changes and care about ensuring things work, not just appear to work.I’ve taken on business risk directly by building and running my own ventures and helping build early-stage companies. That experience shaped how I think about accountability, cost, and long-term consequences.
