Collaborates with Wealth Advisors to accurately allocate funds in one of the firm’s 39 asset allocation investment strategies. Creates innovative processes to continually categorize a universe of securities into the firm’s asset schema. Assisted in valuing a thinly traded security by comparing to peer groups in the public market with a discounted cash flow model, analyzing geographic location real estate prices, and researching company’s water rights to find hidden value. Developed an excel based dynamic portfolio proposal tool that estimates the annual income of a hypothetical portfolio and tracks the performance of strategies to determine if alpha (value added) came from asset allocation selection or manager selection.
