The NHS Wales International Recruitment Programme is a ground-breaking “Once for Wales” collaborative initiative coordinated and delivered by the NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership in partnership with Health Boards and Trusts. Working autonomously and with minimal daily supervision, the International Recruitment Team Leader is responsible for the front-line, day-to-day operation and coordination of the central administration team who are responsible for the successful onboarding of internationally recruited Healthcare Professionals.

ABOUT ALTHAF MUHAMMAD
I am a Business Management graduate with a background in Computer Science Engineering, currently serving as the International Recruitment Team Leader at NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership. I lead the NHS Wales International Recruitment Project, supporting the strategic delivery of global healthcare talent into NHS Wales. I recently earned PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner certifications, equipping me with a robust framework for structured project management—particularly within public sector settings.My academic background includes an MSc in Business Management from Cardiff University (2022) and a BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from the College of Engineering, Munnar. I began my career at Infosys as a Systems Engineer Trainee, where I trained in Java Angular Full Stack Web Development.An active volunteer during my university years, I held leadership roles such as Editor-in-Chief of CS Compute and participated in national-level events including AICSSYC and CSIS. For my contributions, I was honoured with the Best Computer Society Student Volunteer Award by the CS Chapter, Kerala Section in 2018.I am a tech-driven, adaptable team player with strong interests in management, international recruitment, marketing, analytics, and digital technologies. I thrive in collaborative environments and am passionate about lifelong learning, innovation, and impactful work.
