I work on the development and application of advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) techniques. Additionally, I work on brain image and functional brain network analysis to study neurological diseases such as Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). My current work focuses on the early diagnosis of asymptomatic AD (AsymAD) patients using MRI imaging which is a more challenging task than diagnosing symptomatic cases. AsymAD patients are cognitively normal but test positive for AD biomarkers. I analyze longitudinal functional brain networks to identify MRI-based biomarkers for AsymAD, leveraging advanced machine learning, graph neural networks (GNNs), graph theory, and statistical methods.
