Hey, my name is Alsten Vaz, an enthusiastic Software Developer with a passion for full-stack development, AI-driven solutions, and project management. I just completed my master’s in computer science in May 2024, and I\'m currently focused on developing machine learning-powered chatbots and e-learning platforms using React, JavaScript, SQL Hibernate, and Spring MVC. At Community Dreams Foundation, I engineered scalable, testable code, deployed applications on DreamHost, and boosted implementation rates by 47% through Git with CI/CD integration. My expertise also includes managing databases with SQL Hibernate and leveraging AWS Redshift for big data systems. I’ve led Agile development teams, building high-performance platforms like BargainHunter, integrating AI into user interactions, and optimizing cloud deployments on AWS EC2. I have also developed and maintained web solutions, including custom WordPress themes and plugins, showcasing strong front-end development skills with HTML5, CSS3, PHP, and JavaScript. With internships at KeeperAI and YMCA of Greater NY, I gained further experience in software design, usability testing, and back-end integration using Django and GraphQL. My projects spanned AI chatbot development to application support and web optimization for large-scale systems.
