Since 2007, I have created learning experiences that help people grow and succeed. As an Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer, I design and develop innovative and engaging eLearning courses, animated videos, screencast videos, infographics, and job aids that meet the needs of the learners as well as business outcomes: Through my design process, I first collaborate with a team in conducting a thorough needs analysis. Then I design and develop learning experiences that draw people in through quality visual design and content that connects with the learner. Through collaboration with subject matter experts, I create compelling course content and learning materials for the target audience. With an eye for detail, I create thorough project outlines, storyboards, scripts, and prototypes. With my skills in instructional design and eLearning development, I create courses that are visually appealing and support the learning objectives. I also create short animated videos that are on brand and flow smoothly on-screen. I create screencast videos that provide the learner with a smooth step-by-step process of completing a task. In order to enhance a course or project, I create supportive learning materials for learners to use as a quick reference: As a lifelong learner, for years I\'ve used my love of learning to create learning experiences that empower learners and produce results. Through my previous experience as an educator, I found a passion for adult learning while facilitating training sessions both in education and with National Ski Patrol.    As an Instructional Designer at Serco, I play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of one of our contracts by designing and developing high-quality, engaging, and effective e-learning courses. With a focus on compliance training, I am entrusted with the responsibility of crafting courses that meet the rigorous standards of the military.Key Responsibilities- Conducting quality control reviews and functional testing of courses to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory requirements- Designing and redesigning courses to align with annual updates and evolving military guidelines, utilizing instructional design principles and best practices- Developing interactive and immersive e-learning experiences using Articulate Storyline, with a keen emphasis on user engagement and knowledge retention- Creating comprehensive exams and answer keys to assess learners\' understanding and mastery of course content- Collaborating closely with fellow instructional designers on shared projects, exchanging feedback, and implementing necessary revisions to enhance course effectiveness- Facilitating effective communication with project managers and subject matter experts to ensure project milestones are met and course content is accurate and relevant.Transitioning from a part-time to full-time role has allowed me to expand my scope of responsibilities, including leading course redesign initiatives and independently developing courses in Storyline.
