Ali Hassan Alqarni, PhD, completed his bachelor\'s degree in civil & construction engineering from Dammam University in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. He did his thesis in the “Influence of floor system on seismic behavior of RC buildings to forward directivity and fling-step in the near-fault region”. Then, He received his graduate certificate in structural analysis at the University of Kansas. He did his Ph.D. in civil engineering at the Kansas State University.
