How may we be of service?Joined Swiss based HoCoSo to represent this solution focused group of Hospitality leaders and teachers. Founded International Hospitality Advisor consulting group in 2013 to support and mentor international Hoteliers, Owners and Companies. Clients benefit from my career spanning over 45 years, having worked in 10 countries, opened 12 hotels, and enjoying every second. Successfully provided; strategic, development, contract, pre-opening, operations support and crisis leadership for clients in North and Central America, Middle East and Asia.Currently part of the HoCoSo Expert Community as Managing Director of the Americas, providing operational wisdom, strategic, development, contract, pre-operations support and crisis leadership for the network’s clients based in North and South America.Starting my sixth year of teaching online and on-campus MBA courses for Glion as Senior Lecturer. Teaching Property & Asset Management, Managerial Finance, Revenue Management, Resort Development, MBA and Undergraduate courses, and supervising Dissertations.Board member at the National Omani Hospitality Company, serving as Chair of the Finance Committee, and Vice Chair of the Development and Branding Committee.Previously COO of Parks & Resorts for the Delaware North Companies, overseeing concessions at Yosemite, Yellowstone and Grand Canyon National Parks, the Kennedy Space Center-Visitor Complex, 8 owned and managed properties, including four in Australia.Served as COO and brand architect for Candela Hotels a Seattle based full service hotel management company start up. VP Operations at Rosewood Hotels and Resorts. In my fifteen-year career with Rosewood, I led the pre-opening teams of six luxury hotels, including Rosewood’s first boutique hotel, the five star Mansion at Turtle Creek, and managed the following properties; Hotel Bel-Air, Caneel Bay (USVI), Badrutt’s Palace (St. Moritz), repositioning the Seiyo-Ginza (Tokyo), and the Al-Faisaliah (Riyadh).Specialties: Creating high-performance service teams in multi-cultural environments, Brand Architecture for start up hotel companies, and mentoring hotel GMs and executives, particularly through crises.
