Responsibilities & Key Achievements • Spearhead the Stores Function, managing engineering spares, chemicals, raw and packaging materials, weighbridge operations, scrap, and project materials.• Facilitating professional skill enhancement for a diverse team of 87 personnel, including 8 employees, 29 agency officers, and 50 contract staff.• Ensure seamless material functions, including receipt, inspection, custody, inventory management, and scrap handling, adhering to SAP KPIs.• Maintain 100% availability of inventory-controlled items, with periodic updates to stock control categories and perpetual stock verification.• Direct hazardous and non-hazardous scrap disposal while enhancing material storage capacity through mezzanine racking systems.• Manage weighbridge operations for 500+ inbound and outbound vehicles daily, handling MT of coal and MT of salt monthly.• Successfully handled project inventory for five Rs. 2500 Cr projects and accounted for MT of structural steel fabrication outside company premises.• Established a new scrap yard and implemented.• Strengthened MM SOPs for functional effectiveness and control.• Led automation initiatives, including vehicle tracking, tracing, and unmanned weighbridge operations under Autoplant project.• Set and tracked annual departmental KPIs and budgets, ensuring operational efficiency and statutory compliance.• Promoted safety standards, housekeeping excellence, and HSE practices across warehouses and yards.
