The Bihar Development Collective is a joint initiative of well-meaning individuals and organisations with similar passion, zeal, competencies and beliefs towards strengthening the current development ecosystem of Bihar. BDC aims to shift the prevailing narrative about social sector organisations in the state and highlight their potential and greater intent. I have been part of BDC since its inception, playing a key role in brainstorming, co-creating, and turning the idea into action. At present, I lead the membership drive for the collective by designing membership guidelines & criteria, reaching out to organisations, screening them, and onboarding those aligned with BDC’s vision and values. I also help bring the community together by organising quarterly meet-ups, enabling a space for collaboration and collective being.
