   I lead and oversee teams responsible for building and scaling Data, Analytics, Experimentation and central Messaging platforms. I also lead the Security and compliance teams at Meesho. I\'ve successfully grown my teams from 8 to around 55 engineers across various functions.Key Responsibilities:Data Platform: Overseeing the ingestion, processing, and storage of massive volumes of clickstream and transactional data into a Petabyte scale Data Lake. Enabling data-driven insights for product development, business analysis, and machine learning initiatives. Utilizing an open source stack comprising RxJava, Spark, Spark Streaming, Delta lake, Trino, Airflow.Real-time Analytics Platform: building Signal, Meesho’s real-time analytics platform, to provide timely insights and enable rapid decision-making. Utilizing Flink, Open source Real time OLAP stores. Experimentation Platform: building and managing the Abacus experimentation and segmentation platform, facilitating A/B testing and feature flagging to optimize product performance across Meesho. This is a high throughput (500K rps) low latency (P99 of <20ms) service.Building and managing MeUpp, our unified processing platform, to centralize running any big data workload improving performance, stability, observability and overall operational efficiency.Messaging Platform: MeQueue, our central messaging platform, which enables reliable and scalable event based architecture across systems in Meesho.Data Security: Ensuring the protection of sensitive data throughout its lifecycle, including data classification, encryption, and access controls.Security Across SDLC: Integrating Shift left security measures into the SDLC, such as adding of SAST and DAST tools, performing VAPT, Red teaming activities, configuring WAF to prevent vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.Compliance: Ensuring adherence to data privacy and security regulations, including ISO 27001 certification and compliance with DPDP Act.
