About Alok Kumar
I am currently pursuing MBA at IIM Trichy and bring over 30 months of experience working as a cyber security consultant. I started as an Analyst at KPMG working with the Identity and access management team. We supported the biggest health care provider in the state of California with their end to end enterprise access management. My responsibilities involved managing access provisioning, Role based access segregation, Keeping sanity checks for user access reviews as well conducting frequent internal Audits for access controls. Post to KPMG, I shifted to Ernst & Young and was part of the Infosec Team. I had the privilege of working with various clients operating in different domains such as FMCG, Fintech and equity management. I was part of cyber security engagements which involved SOCR reports, Data localization and Operating effectiveness assessments. For the past 1 year, I was supporting a client for their Cyber security strategic management, which involved drafting policy frameworks, Enforcing Security controls & remediating lapses. I am also a certified ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Lead auditor.
