Hill International, New York, NY April 2015 – PresentContract Specialist (MTACC)MTACC #7 Line Extension Project: Process incoming and outgoing Submittals, RFIs, DCR, NCR, EAR and Correspondence; Also update drawing log with the Amplifying Drawings. Maintain and update submittal and RFI logs; Review and coordinate the preparation and processing of incoming and outgoing contract submittals. The document control staff Is to ensure delivery in a timely manner for various contracts; Attend, prepare and distribute the meeting minutes of administrative and construction meetings as necessary; Keep Management informed of any issues or concerns regarding the document control unit; Complete ad hoc tasks as requested by management; Interact with internal staff, reviewers and the contractors on all aspects related to submittals and document control; Ensure that document control is maintained as a highly organized environment; Actively support the team and the successful delivery of the document control product by cross training each team member with being familiar with all aspects of the #7 Line Extension Project’s Document Control Unit. Also, working on other Transit contracts regarding Tracks and upgrades to infrastructure with the elevators and escalators.

I enjoy working as a team that brings the most fulfillment at work. In my past experience it was nice when I worked at WTC construction or with the bridges and tunnels department all for the Port Authority. It was great to see all pulling for each other to get lead items accomplishment as a team. Now with Hill International it has been the same with the 7 Line Upgrade. To see it open and many people coming through that Hub, it is nice to see the work you put into it benefiting many.
