About Allyson Farfan
Hey everyone! My name is Allyson Farfan, and I’m a first-generation Latina American with a deep passion for becoming a physician. I graduated from UC Irvine last year, and shortly after, I took a leap of faith and moved to Cusco, Peru—an experience that has truly shaped both my personal and professional journey.Being immersed in a new community has strengthened my commitment to addressing the gaps I’ve witnessed in healthcare. I am especially passionate about supporting underserved, underrepresented, and Indigenous communities, and working toward more equitable and accessible care for all.I hope to pursue a Master’s in Public Health followed by an MD, with the goal of making a meaningful, human-centered impact in healthcare. I would love to connect with individuals and organizations who share a passion for service, equity, and community-centered care.
