Compound/prepare and dispense orders written by healthcare providers.computer order entry and CPOE order from providers. Oversee and manage USP 797 guidelines in regards to sterile compounding. Active in preparation/development of standards of care in the McLeod network re. insulin drip, basal/bolus,and management of inpatients with diabetes. Active in preparation/developement and management of standing orders for psychiatric patients. Utilization of pixis and Sorian hospital systems. Active and preparation/development and management of Antibiotic stewardship program. Diabetes education for inpatient and outpatients per consults by physicians. Work closely with clinical effectiveness coordinator and nurse educator to ensure proper education and training of physicians/nurses and staff re. clinical information, order sets, etc. Pharmacokinetic consulting/Renal dosing of agents, management of TPN and various other clinical interventions
