During my time as a Stay-at-Home Parent, I have experienced immense growth in my communication, time management and problem resolution abilities. While balancing day-to-day tasks, scheduling/attending meetings, and cultivating an environment of growth and positivity, I am able to mediate difficult situations and overcome challenges with confidence. I remain steadfast in my commitment to learn new techniques to put my best foot forward. I advance my understanding through research and guidance from professionals in child development and early childhood education.In anticipation of taking on future opportunities in my field of study, I have maintained my atmospheric science and GIS skills in a multitude of ways. This includes volunteer work with NWS SKYWARN and CoCoRaHS, certification courses, educational videos, reading atmospheric science literature, and the completion of a course in Synoptic Meteorology at Mississippi State University.
