ABOUT ALLY HUNG
I am currently working at Everest Insurance as an Underwriting Assistant, aiding and supporting underwriters. Working towards my CIP designation and becoming more fluent in insurance and risk management.I have worked in Korea as a Foreign Language Teacher at a Private Kindergarten. This required creating lesson plans, teaching materials and tests, while also maintaining a 40 class a week schedule. Time management and interpersonal skills were required to maintain a organized and friendly work environment. During my time in university, I completed a research thesis paper to finish my Honors Specialization degree in Polymer Chemistry. I also finished a 16 month research internship with BASF Canada Inc as a Polyurethane Chemist Intern during my co-op term.I have worked in various industries which include corporate, service and outdoor camping. From those work experiences I\'ve collected many skills that I believe are transferable to any and all work environments. These skills include teamwork, customer care, organization and problem solving. I believe self-improvement is continuous and as I gracefully age, I will hopefully gain experiences that make me better as a person and a professional.
