As a Board Member for Haha for Hope, I help to guide the vision and strategy of an organization dedicated to empowering middle and high school students through the power of comedy.Our unique 8-week program teaches stand-up, improv, and other comedy dynamics, providing participants with creative tools to overcome trauma, adversity or simply explore the art of comedy. The program culminates in a live performance at a comedy club, giving individuals the chance to share all that they\'ve learned on stage.Haha for Hope launched its inaugural sessions in partnership with Xavier Academy in Houston, with students delivering their final performance at the 2025 Riot Comedy Festival. With plans to expand to new markets beyond Texas, I’m proud to support governance, fundraising, community engagement, and the organization’s mission to spark hope, build confidence, and create lasting impact for youth through humor and connection.
