ABOUT ALLY PRENOVITZ
As a Human Resources Intern, I was in charge of anything from organization in the office to hiring new team members. I stared out by learning the technological systems the company used, checking new applications daily, and managing the hiring documentation. I eventually moved on to contacting potential candidates, conducting/setting up interviews, hiring, setting up onboarding, and revising application templates. During my time at Idlewild I got to create personable connections and positive experiences with the new employees. When I worked in at Chick Fil A, I had worked my way up from Team Member, to Trainer, to Shift Lead. Over the years I have had the responsibility of creating a knowledgeable and friendly work environment. During my shifts, I would have to create efficient, strategic, and timely ways to help our customers get through the store. Whether that be in the dining room or drive thru, we have to make sure that the customers get the best experience during their short visit. Unfortunately, things don\'t always go as planned. I have also had to deal with some customer complaints and compensate them in the correct ways, while also empathizing. As a Receptionist at a Law and Veterinarians aOffice, I have to use strong communication and understanding. I spend my days talking to clients/potential new clients, our attorneys/doctors and outside attorneys/doctors. These tasks include a high volume of professionalism as I am the first person people talk to when they call in. This means that I set the tone and create an initial impression on those not only calling in, but coming in for appointments. I have also been apart of the 4-H horse program for 11 years. During my time as a horse member, I have gone to horse camps as a counselor, and I have participated in activities such as Hippology, State Days, and the State Horse Show. Attending these has given me great opportunities to practice my communication, public speaking, teamwork, and problem solving.
