About Ally Gauss
As a senior mechanical engineering and energy, environmental, and sustainability engineering student at Calvin University, I am seeking a job to further implement high levels of initiative and develop upon previous educational skills. I believe that sustainability in mechanical designs is a vital step towards a greener future. My education and past intern experience at Douglas Dynamics taught me perseverance, critical thinking skills, various drafting software, the importance of communication, and teamwork. Studying abroad has helped me understand engineering design in different environments and how decisions impact different cultures. While I am set to graduate in December of this year, I will have my mechanical degree in May and am hoping for a summer opportunity that can lead to a part time in the fall semester.
