ABOUT ALLY B.

I have over 30 years of diverse experience in law enforcement including a decade delivering digital forensic services and cyber investigations on behalf of Police Service of Northern Ireland. As a result, I have developed a deep understanding of the complexities of a coherent cybersecurity response and the impact these challenges can have on an organisation. My recent private sector experience as an Incident Manager includes leading the response for organisations that have fallen victim to a cyber-attack. I was also responsible for enhancing organisational resilience in anticipation of, and preparation for a direct cyber threat. I have worked alongside teams to create effective and efficient mobilisation plans in the event of an incident.My proactive approach includes developing comprehensive incident response plans, conducting tabletop exercises, and establishing collaborative communication channels to strengthen response efforts. I am proud to be a Chartered Cyber Security Professional, accredited by the UK Cyber Security Centre, which underscores my commitment to upholding the highest standards in the field.My background also encompasses significant exposure to risk management, compliance, and strategic planning. Additionally, I hold a Master of Science in Forensic Computing and Cyber Investigations from University College Dublin.
