Leading the delivery of next-generation infotainment and connectivity systems across multiple vehicle programmes:• Design and delivery of the vehicle Infotainment Head Unit, Driver Information Module and Connectivity • Managed software developers and collaborating with UI/UX engineers and the wide business to drive product development from requirements definition through design, test, validation, and delivery.• Creation and delivery of test procedures plans derived from the IHU and DIM function specification and homologation requirements• Using complex datalogging systems and equipment to validate products from component to vehicle level •Resolving complex software issue from root cause analysis to completion using plateform such as JIRA, Azure DevOps or internal issue management systems. • Work closely with the homologation and cybersecurity teams responsible • Managing the short-term, vehicle programme strategy and budget • Work with strategic partners to develop technically compliant function/system solutions which fulfil project plans, effectively communicating timings and critical paths.• Through commercial and technical judgement use initiative to determine solutions and facilitate IHU and DIM system and topology objectives.• Support and act as mentor to colleagues to achieve individual, departmental, and corporate goals.• Software and Hardware delivery on time with best quality aligned with overall Infotainment and Electrical plan.• Control the full engineering release of owned components and other systems software• Lead and manage of required development tools, test vehicles and facilities. • Observe and measure project performance to determine if the project is hitting the milestones and targets of Vehicle plan.• Involve respective cross-functional departments, engineers, and suppliers in key decisions to create greater accountability.
