About Allissa Hooley
Allissa is an experienced cybersecurity professional and holds a Master of Science in Digital Forensics and Cyber Investigation from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Additionally, Allissa is certified in CompTIA Linux+, Security+, and EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker. Previously, Allissa was enlisted in the United States Navy for nearly 7 years as a Cryptologic Technician Networker, conducting host and network-based analysis for most of her career, specializing in malware analysis and digital forensics. In that role, Allissa was selected to support numerous cyber missions worldwide in defense of the Department of Defense Information Networks.After leaving the military, Allissa was part of a small startup supporting various military, law-enforcement, and other government-affiliated organizations. Here, she developed and taught malware analysis curriculum, conducted malware analysis and forensics investigations, and generated reporting on malware and cybersecurity vulnerabilities.Currently, Allissa is an Incident Response - Lead Associate at Fannie Mae where she leads and conducts investigations, hunts, analyzes, and responds to cyber incidents.
