I am a Program Manager (Consultant) for the Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Partnerships (BioMaP) Branch within BARDA\'s Pharmaceutical Countermeasures Infrastructure (PCI) Division. We prepare for future Public Health Emergencies by working to ensure the domestic capacity and capability to produce the vaccines we need, WHEN we need them. During the Covid-19 PHE, I assisted the White House\'s Operation Warp Speed program to develop vaccines against COVID-19, specifically in the area of vaccine manufacturing and industrial base expansion at BARDA.

As a Program Manager (Contractor), I support the Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Partnerships (BioMaP) Branch within the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Agency (BARDA)\'s Pharmaceutical Countermeasures Infrastructure (PCI) Division. With over eight years of experience in health security-related projects, I help ensure the domestic capacity and capability to produce medical countermeasures against public health emergencies, such as COVID-19, anthrax, and mpox. I also contribute to BARDA\'s role in Operation Warp Speed (OWS), a historic initiative to accelerate the development, manufacturing, and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines and therapeutics. For this effort, I received the Superior Contribution Award from BARDA in June 2023. My specialties include biological science policy development, biodefense policy, dual-use research policy and oversight, and health equity. I am passionate about advancing the science and technology that can protect and save lives.
