As a CNO:(Chief Networking Officer), I LOVE Connecting people, aligning visions, inspiring others and helping people achieve their dreams and aspirations. Professionally I am a DNP prepared Nurse Executive with 30 years of experience leading teams in healthcare. I\'m Nationally Certified as a nurse executive with ANCC, NE-BC. My passion for inspiring others, developing talent & helping employees & organizations achieve greatness is something I have done my entire career. I bring this passion to academia to infuse this same level of inspiration to our future nurse executives and beyond. I love bringing practice and academia together to achieve positive outcomes. My leadership style is one of authenticity, based on my values: integrity, trust, empathy, learning, collaboration & creativity.Leadership Development - Designed and implemented several nursing leadership programs utilizing AONL curriculum for front line leaders, and nursing directors, in addition to participating in organizational leadership development design for health care executives. Employee and Patient Safety - Experience with High Reliability Organizations and the implementation of several initiatives that resulted in the reduction of harm resulting in over in cost savings. Implemented employee wellness programs such as the Center for Mind Body Medicine. Champion for self-care for all health care leaders. Professional Development - NE-BC by ANCC, Current member of AONL, FONL. FHA, ACHE, ALSN (association of leadership science in nursing). Current board member of FONL, Co- Chair of Education Committee(FONL), EBP Committee; Serve on ALSN finance, succession planning and research committees; Past Board Member and NH representative for the Organization of Nurse Leaders and National Nurses on Boards Coalition. National presentations and publications on leadership, resiliency, purpose, and healthy work environment.Research interests include but are not limited to: healthy work environments, role clarity, succession planning, mentoring and implicit rationing. I also have a passion for student engagement, executive practice, and leadership. It brings me joy to see others succeed, which is why I do what I do in helping contribute to the development of future leaders.
