About Allison Smith

Growing up in a small-town newspaper family, I was immersed in marketing, advertising, and media at an early age. I chose to adapt my eye for design and layout of copy and photos into digital media by concentrating on web design and development in college and my career beginning in 2006. I strive for efficiency, organization, and meeting deadlines in all that I do.I work regularly in:• Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma - designing and coding responsive emails, creating optimized graphics for websites and social media, designing conference guides and print signage, and editing photos• Wordpress & Adobe Experience Manager - customizing WP themes and plugins, adjusting and optimizing the look and feel of websites with HTML and CSS, implementing new features and functionality with plugins and JavaScript/jQuery, and performing technical QA.I use the Agile Marketing methodology and the application of sprints, scrums, and project management using Kanban boards and collaboration applications.
