Allison Gittings is the Senior Director of Strategy at Mission North with over a decade of agency experience across a broad range of disciplines. Ms. Gittings helps the brands shaping our future communicate their purpose, vision and unique value proposition in targeted, meaningful ways. Prior to joining Mission North, Ms. Gittings was the Head of Campaign Management for APCO Worldwide’s Amplify practice in DC. She\'s managed large-scale integrated campaigns for global and national corporate, consumer, and B2B brands. As a client partner and strategist, she provides a holistic approach to corporate communications, digital strategy, content creation, media relations, thought leadership and advertising to drive brand reputation, improve customer experience and impact the bottom line for her clients. Ms. Gittings was a primary lead on a Gold Effie Award-Winning multi-million dollar Federal advertising campaign where she managed the integration of social strategy, creative, paid media, and measurement between a strong team of agency partners and vendors. With the goal to reduce the number of teens who experiment with smoking and become lifelong tobacco users, she developed social strategy from the ground up, and was instrumental in building, implementing, and maintaining execution, anticipating and handling risk and managing workflows and timelines between multiple internal and external partners. Ms. Gittings earned her Master’s degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University, and her bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University, where she majored in Psychology, minored in Biology, and was a two-year Varsity Volleyball co-captain. She is an active member of the Junior League in Washington D.C, the National Press Club, a health enthusiast and consultant for a health and wellness company, avid runner, volleyball player, and a certified yoga and fitness instructor.
