ABOUT ALLISON DEMPSEY

I focus on strengthening hospital operations and redesigning how care is delivered both within individual hospitals and across health systems globally. My work spans operational performance and clinical governance with a consistent goal: make healthcare safer, more efficient, and easier to deliver.I recently completed my MBA at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School. I am also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and hold a Master’s in Public Health from Tufts University. This blend of operational, clinical, and business training shapes how I approach complex health system challenges.Over the past several years, I’ve led hospital-based quality improvement and operational initiatives in the United States while partnering with organizations in Europe and Africa on health system design, innovation strategy, and implementation. My work has included improving patient safety programs, optimizing clinical workflows, supporting board governance research, and advising early-stage health tech teams.I remain committed to global healthcare transformation, but my focus is now within hospital walls: how teams function, how decisions get made, and how operational systems can either empower or inhibit patient care. I’m especially interested in the link between frontline operations, leadership, and measurable outcomes.
