About Allison Carvalho
Olivia Pope meets Leslie Knope, I’m an experienced strategist and organizer specializing in social change, social impact and equity. I bring my experiences as a domestic worker, housing organizer, curriculum designer, facilitator, public affairs specialist, social media strategist and Chief of Staff into my consulting practice. I have designed workforce trainings for public assistance recipients in New York City, crafted participatory governance programs in Chicago and led public private partnerships for nonprofits and public agencies in Oregon. I have run successful fundraising and public relations campaigns for political candidates, designed curriculum and training for DePaul University’s Division of Mission and Ministry, Familias en Accion’s Community Health Worker Program and Logan Square Neighborhood Association’s Affordable Housing Division.
