I love life — both living and studying it! As a genetic counselor, I am a steward of genetic information in the era of precision medicine. But not everyone has equal access to genetics in their care. The systems of power and oppression that still shape our world cause people to at different places. Through the lens of genetics, I hope to build a world with equal access to joy; that requires equal access to things like safety, opportunity, community, expression, creativity, play, and self-determination. Let\'s create a world that is equitable, accessible, and more rooted in the idea that we are all worthy of dignity.
