After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin with honors and double-majoring in the Plan II Honors program and the English Honors program, I worked as a legal assistant in a large international law firm. I then attended The University of Texas School of Law, earning a J.D. in 2004. After law school, I served as Briefing Attorney to Chief Justice Adele Hedges at the Fourteenth Court of Appeals, and then went into private practice at another Texas-based firm beginning as an associate and earning elevation to partnership.
