Allison is a member of Ernst & Young LLP’s Business Tax Services practice and serves as the National Transaction Costs Analysis (TCA) Practice Leader. In this role, she provides technical and industry insight to all of the firm\'s TCA subject matter professionals. In addition, she provides guidance on TCA engagements, performs independent reviews and assists with IRS exams for clients of varying sizes and in many different industries, including manufacturing, retail, biotech, pharmaceuticals, automotive, aerospace and defense, financial services, and private equity. Finally, Allison works closely with other members of Ernst & Young LLP’s National Tax Department to stay abreast of new legal and regulatory developments impacting transaction costs. Prior to assuming the role of National Transaction Costs Analsyis Practice Leader, Allison served as the West Region TCA Practice Leader and as a tax account leader. In her role as a tax account leader she provided services for clients in all areas of tax including federal, international, state and local, and indirect taxes. Allison has also been a member of EY\'s Transaciton Tax Advisory Services Practice where she specialized in M&A tax due diligence, tax structuring, reorganizations, divestitures, and financial modeling of acquisition alternatives. Over the past several years, Allison has been a frequent speaker at many internal firm events as well as external events, including at various Tax Executives Institute seminars.Allison is a member of the AICPA and is a licensed CPA in California and Utah.
