About Allison Schlinkert
As the Assistant Vice President of Patient Services, in the Center of Professional Excellence, I lead the strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of Interprofessional Shared Governance, Magnet Designation, Clinical Advancement and Patient and Family Education. Additionally, I facilitate Patient Services Recognitions and Awards, Point of Care Scholars, Joint Commission Accreditation and the Annual Nursing Report. Currently, I am the lead nursing sponsor to launch Virtual Nursing in our pediatric setting, as well as leading improvement and innovation work for appropriate patient identification in the pediatric setting.I have over 19 years of nursing experience, including 13 years of progressive leadership roles in various settings and specialties.My core competencies include developing and managing evidence-based practice programs, fostering a culture of learning and excellence, mentoring and coaching nursing staff and leaders. I am passionate about advancing the profession of nursing and improving patient outcomes through quality and safety initiatives. I hold a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a focus on Clinical Education and ANCC Board Certification in Nurse Professional Development (ANPD).
