ABOUT ALLISON RYMER
Allison Rymer has a passion for entertainment and bringing stories to life. She has experience as a development executive, producer, and writer. She attended Northwestern University majoring in Radio/Television/Film. Upon moving to Los Angeles, she landed a job at Creative Artists Agency where she got a crash course of the industry. She devoured a ton of scripts and formed strong, lasting relationships with writers, executives, agents, and managers. Allison quickly went from an assistant role to a Creative Executive at Mandeville Television. There she developed eight shows, selling to networks such as ABC, CBS, and FX. On the side, she began writing her own scripts. It wasn’t long before she found success and was hired to write scripts for the hit shows,\"Chasing Life\" and \"Shadowhunters\". Allison was approached to be the lead writer on a video-game for one of the biggest video game companies in the world, Square Enix/Luminous. She spearheaded the story behind Forspoken. The trailer for the game has generated over 2.5 million views. And she\'s been hired to write another brand new video game which is in active development.Simultaneously, Allison was sought after to write and edit Wondery\'s \"Even The Rich\" podcast which won an Ambie Award for “Best Entertainment Podcast” in 2021 and is ranked in the top 100 on the charts. There, along with writing, she gave notes, brainstormed content, problem-solved production issues, and found new talent/writers.She is currently producing an independent film. In her spare time, she likes traveling, spending time with her family, and sitting on the couch binging TV — pass the popcorn.
