I interned on the Geolocated Health Facility Data (GHFD) Initiative team situated at the WHO GIS Centre for Health in the Division of Data, Analytics and Delivery for Impact. As part of this work, I conducted a comprehensive literature review of 41 sources to inform a data sensitivity tool for assessing health facility location data and data on attacks on health facilities in conflict zones. Additionally, I analyzed Ministry of Health data from 46 countries to determine patterns of health facility categorizations. Along with another student, I conducted 21 interviews with key stakeholders inside and outside of the WHO and synthesized findings into a report. We presented all findings to the WHO Technical Working Group and WHO Implementation Working Group.
