About Allison Rawlings

I am a dedicated law enforcement professional with a strong academic background, holding a degree in Criminology (cum laude) from West Virginia University, along with a minor in Forensics and Investigative Science. After graduating in 2018, I began my career with the Leesburg Police Department. In 2021, I joined the Loudoun County Sheriff\'s Office, initially serving as a Patrol Deputy. In April 2023, I advanced to the role of Detective in the Criminal Investigations Division, specializing in the Special Victims Unit. In October 2025 I was transferred to the Robbery / Homicide Unit. I continue to serve as a Detective, bringing expertise, dedication, and a commitment to public safety in every aspect of my work.

   Lead comprehensive criminal investigations involving both juveniles and adults- Conduct interviews with victims, suspects, witnesses, and other key individuals related to the investigation- Collect and analyze evidence to support case development- Prepare detailed written reports on investigative findings- Attend and provide testimony at multiple court hearings each month, including Juvenile and Domestic - Relations Court, General District Court, and Circuit Court- Organize and compile case files for court proceedings- Collaborate closely with team members, supervisors, legal professionals, external agencies, and the public to ensure thorough investigations- Gold EMPACT award recipient, 2024- Bronze EMPACT award recipient, 2025
