About Allison Jodoin

Hi! My name is Allison Jodoin and I am junior Hutton Honors student double majoring in finance and real estate through the Kelley School of Business at IU. I have been awarded the Founders Scholar Honors Convocation Award (sustained academic excellence with gpa of 3.8+) for the past three years and plan to graduate with the Hutton Honors Notation. I had the amazing opportunity to intern at Performance Wealth in Hinsdale, IL this summer. I learned what it looks like to actively manage funds and how these investments need to align with the clients needs and the economy. Through research and analytics of the economy and companies, I created stock analysis and decided which 20 to invest in. I was able to apply this knowledge and learn Eclipse Trading Software and MoneyGuidePro to align with clients and their financial strategies. I am so lucky to be able to return back this summer and I can’t wait to learn more from these professionals and meet all the interns! At IU, I am also in Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women. I had the honor to be elected as Vice President of Community Relations and serve on the executive board from November 2024 to December 2025. I hosted two large philanthropy events in the spring, Pi Phi for Pink, raising $17,200 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation and Pi Phi Valentines for the Pi Beta Phi Literacy Fund. In the fall, we had two other events, Cones for a Cause, as well as our biggest event Pi Burger Phi, where was donated to the Pi Beta Phi Literacy and Friendship Fund. In addition to helping amazing causes, I got to network with business professionals and learn how to event plan as well as work on the finance side of things and work within a budget. Another impactful part of my job was volunteering weekly at Fairview Elementary and read to the first graders. After every philanthropy event, I filled out a local impact grant which takes 25% of all funds raised, doubles it, and sends it to Fairview Elementary for the librarian to get more books and supplies for their libraries. I will never forget this amazing experience I had.
