As a Residential Assistant, I serve as an event planner, advertiser, crisis manager, researcher, activecommunicator, and analyzer. I supervise 40 residents and effectively respond to complaints, reports,requests, and emergencies. Along with this, I plan and host a unique monthly event that would benefitmy residents. I advertise these events by designing flyers to capture their attention and placing them inareas that will create the highest attendance outcome. These tasks strengthen my critical thinking andanalysis of data. By doing so, I enhance the experiences of my residents, positively impacting theirexperiences and maintaining positive relations with them and their parents.

I am Allison Janvier, a senior at Florida State University, where I actively engage in various leadership roles, including being the Public Relations Chair for FSU’s Class Council, Outreach Chair for the Florida Public Relations Association, and a Residential Assistant for University Housing. I have also gained valuable experience as a Communications Intern for FSU’s College of Fine Arts. Currently, I am pursuing a double major in Public Relations and Marketing, and I am excited about opportunities in Public Relations and Marketing strategy specifically in tourism, travel, and entertainment.
