About Allison Jalowiec

I’m a communications and external relations professional with a strong interest in the intersection of sport and philanthropy. I enjoy creating organizational alignment through thoughtful communication, building authentic partnerships within and beyond sports, and helping make football more accessible for athletes of all ages, genders, and abilities. In my current role at Riddell, I lead internal communications and help shape the company’s external brand reputation through media management, executive positioning, and copywriting. I also oversee external relations efforts, including the company’s giveback initiatives and many of its strategic partnerships.Prior to joining Riddell, I served as Assistant Coordinator, Athletics Director Operations and Communications at Ohio University while completing both a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Sport Administration (MSA) through its renowned dual-degree sport administration program. In this role, I supported Athletics Director Julie Cromer by managing donor relations, contributing to executive-level university communications, and hosting visiting athletics directors and university personnel.A three-time Ohio alumna, I originally graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies and a certificate in Festivals, Events, and Entertainment Management. I also served as Student Director of Athletic Communications, working with NCAA Division I FBS programs including football, women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s cross country, and women’s track and field.Originally from Greater Cleveland, I’ve gained experience working with organizations such as the Cleveland Guardians and the Mid-American Conference, as well as a variety of local sports groups focused on youth and high school athletics. Driven by my passion for sporting events, I’ve also contributed to major national events including the 2020 Ryder Cup, Super Bowl LVI and the 2024 NCAA Division I Women’s Final Four, and the 2025 NCAA Division I Men’s First and Second Rounds.
