About Allison Horenberg
I am a self-motivated, compassionate, problem-solver with five years of experience in biomedical research. I received my PhD in biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins University in 2025. My dissertation investigated the role of peripheral nerves in mediating bone regeneration. I am particularly interested in biotech commercialization and gained experience evaluating technologies and performing due diligence through my role at Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures. I am currently working in healthcare investing at Rock Springs Capital. I am passionate about outreach and community building. I am a long time volunteer with Thread, a local organization that seeks to build meaningful relationships across lines of difference. In this program, I mentor local underperforming high school students and build community amongst volunteers and staff members.
