U.S. Government lead on U.S-Canada transportation and supply chains, including managing multiple projects simultaneously. Analyzes cross-border commerce in rail, road, marine, and pipeline infrastructure and provides leadership to the White House during border disruptions. Significant knowledge of the products crossing the U.S-Canada border and their importance to the U.S. economy.Developed and continues to lead the first U.S-Canada cross-border supply chain data initiative, which created a dashboard to identify and address border crossings that are the most at-risk for supply chain disruptions. Goals of the initiative are to improve capacity, resilience, network optimization, and forecasting for the $762 billion of goods crossing all major border ports of entry annually. Built a binational, interagency coalition and presented on this effort at numerous forums. Advocates on behalf of border communities and stakeholders to ensure their needs are properly considered during policy development. This included advocating on behalf of the Alaska Highway which later received a $25 million RAISE grant.Negotiated and implemented high-level climate and supply chain projects with Canada. Results include the first binational alternative fuel corridor (a Presidential deliverable), the first U.S-Canada Tabletop Exercise focused on supply chains, and the creation of the Great Lakes/St. Lawrence Seaway Green Shipping Corridor Network.Manages the U.S. DOT Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) team, providing strategic national security analysis on over 30 cases per year.U.S. lead for the Western Hemisphere Network for Road Safety.
