ABOUT ALLISON G. CAPPELLA
With over 10 years of combined experience in law, litigation, and social services, I am currently the Senior Director of Housing and Grants Management at Regional Economic Community Action Program (RECAP), a nonprofit organization that serves the needs of people with low incomes and vulnerable populations in the Hudson Valley region. In this role, I oversee the development and administration of various affordable and permanent supportive housing and grant programs, securing and managing funding opportunities, partnerships, and compliance, as well as providing guidance and support to the staff and clients. I leverage my expertise in legal research, writing, and advocacy, as well as my analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, to create positive social impact and improve the lives and well-being of the people and causes I care about.
