ABOUT ALLISON D.
As a dedicated Political Science student with a Pre-Law focus, I am passionate about understanding the intersection of law, policy, and community affairs, especially when relating to Human Rights. Currently pursuing my degree in an Honors College program, I thrive in academic environments that challenge me to think critically, communicate effectively, and advocate for meaningful change. My minors in Spanish and Business have equipped me with the language proficiency and strategic mindset needed to navigate diverse professional, cultural and legal landscapes as well as strengthening my skills such as effective communication, leadership abilities, and a reinforced commitment to justice.I actively engage in student organizations, leadership roles, and volunteer opportunities that emphasizes my dedication to public service, policy development, and legal advocacy. This past year I lead the Corvallis Women’s March. Through volunteering to canvas and support local candidates, I was able to connect with several United States lawmakers who were willing to support and speak at the event. I am excited to apply my knowledge and experience in government and law to helping others both within and outside my community.
