ABOUT ALLISON BRENNAN

I am a strategic, influential and high-performing media / communications professional currently based in Montana, but working for CBS National News. I oversee political booking for CBS News 24/7 and book interviews for our flagship political show, “America Decides.” In my role, I bring the biggest interviews to our rapidly growing platform. We have experienced year-over-year success in setting a vision for “America Decides,” that connects deeply with audiences, has elevated our brand visibility and better communicated what our audience needs to know about political news. Prior to my work at CBS News, I worked as a producer at CNN where I collaborated on some of the world\'s most talked about interviews and breaking news coverage across the country and around the world. This ranged from placing op-eds within CNN, to developing dynamic rollouts for our key newsmaking interviews, developing strategies to make sure that the interviews we landed made the biggest splash within the sprawling platforms the network has. I have been recognized for my successes. In 2017, I earned an Emmy nomination while working on Anderson Cooper\'s interview with Sally Yates. I was also named among the \"Most Influential Women in Election Media\" in 2016 by the Huffington Post. When I\'m not in the nation\'s capital, I live right off the picturesque Yellowstone River in Livingston, Montana with my four rescue pups, Lou, Hobbes, Sawyer and Finn.
