About Allison Abbott-Kline
Allison is a graduate of Santa Clara University where she earned a BA in English and minor in Renaissance Literature. Ms. Abbott-Kline is vice president of LibraryWorld, a “cloud” integrated library system used by more than 3,700 public, academic, non-profit and special libraries worldwide. Prior to this position, Allison served as the Development Director for Catholic K-8 Education for the Diocese of San Jose for 10 years.Allison currently serves on the Diocese of San Jose School Advisory Board, Santa Clara University Board of Fellows, Santa Clara University Catala Club, Marketing Board for Notre Dame High School. Previously on the Cristo Rey San Jose Exploratory Committee, an adjunct lecturer at Santa Clara University in the Catholic Teaching and Administration Programs. She has assisted History San Jose, Valley Medical Center Foundation, Healthy Kids & The Housing Trust of Santa Clara Valley with fundraising and was a prior Board Member for the Happy Hollow Foundation and the Diabetes Society. Ms. Abbott-Kline is also a member of AFP Silicon Valley, is a Dame Commander of Grace, Sovereign Order of the Knight of St. John Hospitaller and Commander Emeritus of the St. Joseph Commandery. She is also a member of the Rotary Club of San Jose, the 8th largest Rotary Club in the world.Allison is a 5th generation Californian with family ties that stretch to the alcaldes of early San Francisco to the development of Half Moon Bay from Spanish land grants to the founding of a community nestled in the hills that was once a summer retreat - Saratoga. Married for over 40 years, mother of 2 grown sons, Allison, her husband, golden retriever Marie and great pyrenees Charlie split time at their home in the Rose Garden area of San Jose and their cottage in Pebble Beach.
