Dream big, and execute bigger.I am Allie Floros, a senior year student at the Kelley School of Business. My passion for business derives from growing up in a household of entrepreneurs - I was encouraged from a young age to think outside of the box, by finding creative and new ways to problem solve. Empty egg carton? I used it as a battleship board. Outgrown clothes? I cut them and made them into doll clothes. I always found ways to reinvent and reimagine. So here I am, learning more everyday to enhance my business mindset and skills. Challenges are not setbacks, but rather opportunities in my mind. The more problems I face, the more possibilities there are to solve them. Whether I was addressing the publication as Editor in Chief for my school’s online newspaper, or problem solving as an intern at New Balance, I carried that engrained mindset as I approached new issues by evaluating, communicating, and reworking, until I reached the best possible conclusion for the business, or people involved.Business not only excites me but it propels me to be a better and stronger person. Through surrounding myself with people who are more experienced and knowledgeable than I, I am able to push myself to continue to learn. I hope my college future and beyond consists of constant exposure and new opportunities - I am a perseverer and dedicated worker, and am always looking for my next challenge.
